| March, 2010: Camping and Horseback Riding |
|
This was a camping and horseback riding outing we took to our outing to Fairwinds Farm (http://www.fairwindsstables.com/). We had fun camping, made turtles for supper on an open fire, had mountain pies for Saturday nighttime snack and of course, learned about horses by working on the Horsemanship Merit Badge.

| January, 2010: Cabin Camping, Helicopter Museum and Indian Lore |

Annual trip to Troop 78's cabin in Paoli, PA. We visited a Helicopter Museum near West Chester, PA where we worked on the Aviation Merit Badge. Back at the Troop 78 cabin, we were treated to an Indian Dance demonstration (by Troop 78 scouts) and then worked on the Indian Lore merit badge.

This was our outing to Camp Horseshoe for winter cabin camping. We got a bit of snow during weekend and worked on Electronics Merit Badge.

| May, 2006: Laural Caverns |

A trip to the Laural Caverns in Western PA. The boys earned Climbing and/or Geology Merit Badges.

| March, 2006: Camping at Gunpowder Falls |
|
A March camping trip that turned out to be more like a May camping trip ... you never know in Maryland. The boys had fun sunning themselves and playing in the stream.

Annual winter cabin camping at Camp Horseshoe ... a few webelos came along and learned about Horseshoe and the Troop.

Orienteering Outing ... for some good competion. Our troop faired well that year.

This is cold weather (think subzero) tent camping at Catoctin. We all survived, spent some time learning to build shelters and now all know we can survive harsh conditions. |

This is father/son bike trip taken WV on Greenbrier Trail. We covered about 150 miles including our last 75 to earn Biking Merit Badge. |

This was a weekend backpack/camping trip to Catoctin. We backpacked-in, setup camp and then did a day hike. |
